Saffron reduces the risk of cancer

Saffron has had anti-cancer effects on various cellular models and on a wide range of tumors, including leukemia, ovarian and breast carcinoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.

Saffron only affects cancer cells and does not affect healthy cells.

Prescribing saffron extract orally and topically in living organisms reduces the incidence of artificial cancer, inhibits tumor growth rate, and prolongs the life of laboratory animals.
